Tim Gutmann, 1966-2007
I don't have the words right now to describe my sorrow at learning that my grad school buddy, Timothy Gutmann, was killed last night in a kayaking accident off of Woods Island, Maine.

he was my professor last year. he made class fun... i will miss him, as i'm sure everyone else at UNE will as well. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I'm a student at UNH, and I knew Tim in passing. What little I knew of him showed me that he was an intelligent, energetic, and very interesting person. His hobbies were eclectic, and showed a love of mathematics, education, and living life to the fullest. I sorry he's gone, but I'm really sorry I never got to know him any better. My sincere condolences to you.
